Profit Software appoints Niklas Midby as Chairman

4 May 2021: Profit Software, a leading Nordic provider of system solutions and services to insurers, banks and financial institutions, has appointed Niklas Midby as its Chairman.

Niklas brings deep board leadership experience in the Nordic financial services industry including Chairman roles with Swedish platform for digital mortgage lending stoEr, the first purely digital bank in Norway Sbanken, life insurance specialist investor Resscapital, Nasdaq OMX, and others.

Niklas will contribute to Profit Software his experience of supporting companies in entering new markets, including while on the board of OX2 (a leading European wind power developer from Sweden) as well as the spin-off of the Norwegian operations of Swedish Skandiabanken into publicly listed Sbanken. Niklas’ leadership will be an asset for Profit Software, whose strategic priority is to broaden its offering of products and services to the financial industry both organically and through acquisitions, most recently resulting in the successful acquisition of Kaakontieto, a provider of information systems to the financial sector.
