How the ELEVATE Women’s Leadership Programme is driving business success in the Volpi portfolio

Launched in September 2024, Volpi’s ELEVATE programme is aimed at female leaders across our platform who are new to leadership roles or are aspiring to become leaders in our portfolio companies. Over a four-month period, workshops will be held to support participants to build on their experience across pillars such as authentic leadership, private equity knowledge, and leading high-performing teams.

The programme sets out to achieve the following core objectives:

  1. Educate: Look at value creation strategy through the lens of a Private Equity investor.
  2. Empower: Introduce senior professionals from across the Volpi network who have managed career phases and navigated their respective industries successfully.
  3. Connect: Build a strong network of female leaders within the Volpi community to benefit from their combined experiences and insight.
  4. Highlight: Promote women with transparency across the Volpi portfolio.

By nurturing and helping to retain female talent, we are accelerating the overall success of Volpi’s platform. It is no secret that firms with women in senior and decision making roles are top performing with recent research by the DDI showing companies in the top 10% of financial performance have more women leaders, with 29% of women leaders, compared to 23% in their underperforming peers. The same study showed that high-performing companies also tend to have more women in their high-potential talent pools, a key leading indicator of a company’s ability to succeed in the long-term and face future challenges.
